What makes Hankai special
Our educational philosophy is simple yet powerful: every student is essential, and each one has the potential to shine brightly.
Administrators and Hankai
Do you know why our school is called "Hankai"?"Han" represents China; we speak "Chinese," and the leading ethnic group is the "Han." The Han Dynasty had a history of over 400 years, symbolising the traditional spirit of China. "Kai" means "open," signifying our openness to the world from China, allowing us to see beyond China. Therefore, "Hankai" symbolises the fusion of Chinese and world civilisations, and we aspire to imbue our students with the essence of both China and the world. Therefore, you represent the "open" spirit, broadening students' minds and hearts to the civilisations and beauty of the world.
I hope that our students will never forget the "Kai" teachers, "Kai" courses, and all the beautiful things that "Kai" has bestowed upon them, regardless of where they go in the future, be it Oxford or Cambridge, the United States or the Netherlands, or anywhere else."
Prof. Wang Zhanbao, Dean of Nanjing Hankai Academy.
Take another step toward your dream.“At Nanjing Hankai Academy, we believe that every step our students take brings them closer to their dreams.
